EGING PV Technology Co., Ltd. The Jiangsu (Eging) Photovoltaic Engineering Research Institute was established in July 2011 with a total investment of 300 million yuan. By consolidating scientific and technological innovation resources, the institute has introduced 120 advanced instruments and equipment, including solar simulators and partial discharge testers. It has also established seven major R&D platforms: the Specialized Materials R&D Center, Specialized Equipment R&D Center, New Product Development Center, Systems Engineering Research Center, Testing Center, Industrialization Center, and Reliability Testing & Analysis Center. The institute focuses on key technological and industrial research, including efficiency enhancement and material development for monocrystalline silicon solar cells, HJT and TOPCon cell technologies, module reliability and application scenario testing, as well as photovoltaic system development for ground-mounted and rooftop power plants. Jiangsu (Eging) Solar Materials Engineering Technology Research Center

The Jiangsu (Eging) Solar Materials Engineering Technology Research Center was established in May 2009 with an additional investment of 20 million yuan, including the procurement of over 8 million yuan worth of advanced R&D instruments and equipment. The center focuses on key research areas such as novel technologies for large-area, high-efficiency, and cost-effective crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells; advanced domestic production techniques and critical equipment for MW-scale crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells; application technologies for solar energy systems; and research on novel thin-film solar cells. Operating under an open and flexible mechanism, the center is equipped with dedicated personnel for engineering R&D, technical support, and management. Additionally, it actively creates opportunities to attract both domestic and international researchers, encouraging them to collaborate on technology transfer, engineering development, and experimental studies. Committed to innovation and practical application, the center aims to drive advancements in solar materials and contribute to the sustainable growth of the photovoltaic industry.

Eging Postdoctoral Research Workstation

Approved by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China on June 19, 2008, the Eging Postdoctoral Research Workstation was established as a national-level platform. Its creation aims to attract, cultivate, and employ high-level talents, particularly innovative and outstanding individuals, while fostering a flexible talent management mechanism and promoting industry-university-research collaboration. The company has formulated practical management regulations for postdoctoral work and progressively refined its operational systems. It prioritizes the training and utilization of postdoctoral researchers, with a particular emphasis on nurturing their innovative capabilities. Since its establishment, the Jiangsu (Eging) Provincial Enterprise Technology Center has cultivated and recruited a highly experienced scientific research team. The center has attracted 6 Ph.D. holders, 39 master’s degree holders, and 7 senior experts. The current R&D workforce comprises four key groups: in-house researchers, senior technical specialists, external expert consultants, and graduate students jointly trained with partner universities. Additionally, the company collaborates with institutions such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Jiangsu University to co-supervise postgraduate programs, fostering talent development through academic-industry partnerships.

Eging International Science and Technology Cooperation Base

From June 2008 to June 2010, Changzhou Eging Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. undertook a national-level international science and technology cooperation project in collaboration with Japan’s Noritake Co., Ltd., focusing on the joint development of a "mesh belt-free high-temperature sintering furnace system." This initiative aimed to optimize and enhance existing sintering furnace technologies. On September 19, 2008, the company was officially designated as an "International Science and Technology Cooperation Base" by the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China. Established on May 1, 2007, the Module Testing Laboratory of Changzhou Eging Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. specializes in evaluating raw materials and finished photovoltaic modules to ensure product quality and reliability. Equipped with over 100 advanced testing devices and instruments, the laboratory offers comprehensive testing capabilities, including 20 large-scale test categories and 96 small-scale test procedures. In October 2011, the laboratory was awarded the CNAS National Laboratory Accreditation Certificate by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), demonstrating its full compliance with the ISO/IEC 17025 international standard and CNAS-CL01 accreditation requirements. This recognition underscores Eging’s commitment to maintaining globally benchmarked quality control systems.

Simultaneously, a bias voltage is applied to generate localized currents, inducing sintering and significantly reducing contact resistance between metal electrodes and semiconductors, thereby improving the fill factor. By adopting LECO Technology, the efficiency of N-type solar cells can be enhanced by 0.35%, while N-type modules of the same design achieve even greater performance gains.
